Meet Alok. Alok grew-up in Ranchi, a place he still holds very close to his heart. At 17 he moved to Delhi after gaining admission in the prestigious Hindu College. He is a proud Hinduite, in love with its robust alma mater but accepts that the cafe at competing college, St Stephens, was much swisher!  During his college days he played in the nationals for the Under 17 team and relished all the travel that came with this honour, and every summer and winter vacation he’d look forward to the 22 hour train journey from Ranchi to Delhi and back. With a bureaucrat for a father the traditional career after graduation was obviously to join the civil service, however he choose a different path, choosing to enroll in a Tourism Management course. The rest as they say, is history. His career path is not his passion in life. Alok loves nothing more than escaping the city and heading to the Himalayas and is always on a quest to find and sample good, authentic regional cuisine.

Manager

SACHIT VERMA

Meet Sachit. Sachit’s is the longest serving member of the Enriching Journeys team. Hailing originally from Jharkhand, he ensure that the day to day running of EJ operates like a well oiled machine. Sachit loves playing chess, and his favourite quote is, “Chess, like love, like music, has the power to make men happy!”. Before joining EJ he worked at Delhi International Airport, where his path crossed many international travellers, and from there his curiosity for travel and tourism was born. Sachit is an excellent cook, always creating mouthwatering dishes during team gathering, which keeps Alok very happy!

Favourite Destination: Narlai in Rajasthan and Vishakhapatnam in Andra Pradesh

YOGESH DUBEY

Introducing Yogesh. He is a key player in operations and product management, ensuring smooth and enjoyable journeys for the esteemed guests. He hails from one of the oldest city in the world-Banaras or Varanasi or Kashi. With a solid grasp of Indian Geography and a MBA in Tourism Management from the reputed Banaras Hindu University, Yogesh brings valuable expertise to the table.
Outside of work, he’s an adventure lover, all about biking and exploring new places, especially the diverse landscapes of India. In both work and personal adventures, Yogesh is dedicated to creating enriching experiences for everyone involved.

Favorite Destination: Ladakh and Udaipur

Office Assistant

NEERAJ KUMAR

Meet Neeraj. Neeraj is our brilliant office assistant, without who EJ would cease to function. Hailing from Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the birthplace of Sita, Neeraj is another keen cook, and experimenting with ingredients and preparing delicious dishes is his hobby, for which we are ever grateful. His aloo parathas are excellent. He loves visiting old Delhi and the Chandni Chowk area. Neeraj keeps an eye on all of our work with various NGOs and ensures he visits those we love and support regularly.

Favourite Destination: Varanasi

UMED SINGH

Meet Umed Singh. Umed hails from one of our favourite hill stations, the town of Almora in Uttarakhand. He is our company chauffeur as well as helping out with various admin tasks. His discipline, positivity and his open-minded approach to life is just amazing, and we would be hard pressed to function without him. A diehard Amitabh Bachchan fan, the Bollywood star’s hospitalisation in 1983 was perhaps the most trying time in poor Umed’s life so far! Luckily both fully recovered.
