This is the ultimate itinerary for those who want to explore Bhutan in more depth – and who wish to enjoy the scenic beauty and cultural richness it has to offer by exploring on foot. We have designed a 4 day trek through some of the country’s most beautiful locations. The trek begins from one of the richest and historically relevant districts of Bhutan, Bumthang, taking in many chortens and dzongs en route. The highest point of the trek is Phephe-la pass, at 3350meters, however the trek is not an arduous one, and the emphasis is on an easy paced, scenic trek.  See the peaceful Buddhist monastery at Ngang Lhakhang; visit the beautiful  Ogyen Choling Palace and Jambey Lakhang (Temple of Maitreya) on your way back to Bhumtang.
