This journey is for those who love the idea of exploring the foothills of the Himalayas, enjoying the tranquility of this scenic part of India. This journey is also for the rail enthusiast as it includes travel on the world famous Kalka – Shimla Toy Train. A narrow gauge railway of just 2 ft 6 inches, the route takes you through magnificent tunnels, bridges & hills, curving and climbing slowly towards Shimla. Once the summer capital of the British Raj, Shimla is now a popular hill station for domestic tourists. Situated in the lap of the lower Himalayas, walk through the beautiful landscapes & explore & loosen up at your spa resort, located just outside Shimla which will be our base. This trip ends with a visit to the ultimate monument of love- the Taj Mahal.
