ITINERARY OVERVIEW
Day 1, 2 & 3
Day 1: Kolkata
Arrive into Kolkata Airport where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Kolkata
Early morning visit the famous riverside flower market which is a photographers’ delight. Visit some of the historical buildings and landmark of the City of Joy
Day 3: Kolkata
Today explore northern Kolkata, tracing the history of the Bengal Renaissance. Along the way you’ll get a chance to sample some of the city’s famed street food, and enjoy a private boat ride on the River Hooghly
Day 4, 5 & 6
Day 4: Bawali
Drive an hour outside of Kolkata to stay 2 nights at the beautiful Rajbari Bawali. Late afternoon visit the temple on the magnificent Hoogly river and an embroidery factory before the sun sets. Enjoy an amazing evening sundowner on a traditional wooden rowing boat.
Day 5: Bawali
This morning take a bike ride around the village. Afternoon cooking interaction learning a few local delicacies.
Day 6: Nameri
Transfer to Kolkata airport for flight to Guwahati and transfer to Nameri National Park. Check in to your tented accommodation.
Day 7, 8
Day 7: Nameri
Enjoy birding while trekking through the jungle inside the reserve or while rafting down the Jia Bhorali River
Day 8: Kaziranga
After breakfast driven to Kaziranga. Check in to your hotel for 3 nights. Later in the afternoon enjoy a Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National Park.
Day 9, 10 & 11
Day 9: Kaziranga
Early morning enjoy an elephant safari followed by a jeep safari post breakfast. Afternoon another jeep safari.
Day 10: Kaziranga

Day 11: Jorhat
This afternoon drive to Jorhat and check in at your hotel for the night.
Day 12 & 13
Day 12: Dibrugarh
Early morning visit to the Hoollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary which is home to the hoolock gibbons, the only gibbons indigenous to India. Later in the afternoon drive to Dibrugarh and check in at your colonial-era bungalow which was built for the tea estate managers.
Day 13: Tinsukia
Today early morning you will be driven to Jokai Reserve Forest. It’s a small broadleaf forest, minutes away from Dibrugarh. Later in the afternoon drive to Tinsukia and check in at your bungalow.
Day 14 & 15
Day 14: Tinsukia
Early morning explore the Dibru-Saikhowa National Park and the Maguri Beel. Enjoy a boat ride on the Dibru River or go for a jungle walk. The park is great for birders and the river is also the habitat of the rare Gangetic Dolphin.
Day 16: Onward travel
This morning transfer to the Dibrugarh airport to board your flight back to Kolkata and connect for your flight back home.
