Who says India’s not for families? We have put together the perfect family friendly itinerary to India – combining the thrill of exploring Old Delhi’s narrow lanes by cycle rickshaw and sampling some of it’s most mouth watering street food. Explore the Taj Mahal, but we don’t want to overdo it on the monuments, so head straight to Chambal where you’ll stay at a laid back lodge where the kids can take to the country lanes by bicycle, and see some wildlife up close and personal by boat, camel and jeep. Don’t miss out on Rajasthan’s most exciting cities – Jaipur and Jodhpur, with their colourful bazaars and stunning forts. Your kids will love visits to two animal sanctuaries which are dedicated to ensuring some of India’s most abused animals now have a happy and healthy life. Mumbai will offer a cosmopolitan buzz, shopping malls and cinemas while Goa is the perfect place to end your trip, with some downtime on it’s sandy beaches and warm seas.

 This morning enjoy a rickshaw ride in the bustling hub of old Delhi with its bustling markets and frantic pace. Try some tasty street foods and sweets.

 After breakfast, drive to Chambal Safari Lodge stopping en route to visit the Wildlife SOS Bear Rescue Sanctuary. Continue to Agra and visit the wonderful Taj Mahal.  Arrive at Chambal in time for dinner.

 This morning head out on a boat ride on the Chambal where you can see some crocodiles and gharwals basking in the sun on the banks of the river.  Continue by camel back to visit an abandoned fort.
If there is time later in the day you can take out some bikes to explore the local villages.

 Transfer to Bharatpur railway station for your train to Sawai Madhopur. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your accommodation in Ranthambore National Park for check in. Ranthambore

 If you wish we can organise a very early morning sunrise hot air balloon ride for the family which is a great way to see the Rajasthani countryside. Return to your hotel for breakfast, Morning tour of Jaipur including the Amber Fort.
This afternoon we can organise a visit to a local market and a cooking class at a local home – you’ll then be able to sit and enjoy the fruits of your labour for dinner together.

 Day at leisure. In the afternoon, driven to the outskirts of Jaipur into the wilderness to Dera Amer. Spend time with an elephant wherey ou can help with washing and walking with her. Enjoy lunch here.

 Transfer to Jodhpur airport for onward flight to Mumbai. On arrival you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. If you wish we can organize an optional tour of Dharavi, India’s largest slum, and an inspirational place as it’s full of true entrepreneurs.
