If your bucket list includes hiking and trekking in the Himalayas, then the Annapurna Circuit is a must. Much of the Annapurna circuit actually lies within the rain shadow hence the trek is ‘in the shadow of the Himalayas’. It is the most scenic, moderate gradient trek in the world with the highest altitude reaching only 4130 at Annapurna Base Camp. While the accommodation can be as comfortable and luxurious as you wish in the cities, the trek itself will mean staying in more modest tea houses or lodges. Get your walking boots on and come explore one of the world’s most beautiful and accessible high altitude treks.
