Begin in India’s third-largest city, Kolkata, a 330-year-old metropolis moving onwards to Mumbai, once a group of seven uninhabitable marshy islands, now the most vibrant and cosmopolitan Indian cities. . Explore the vibrant & colorful textile villages of the Great Rann of Kutch in Gujarat, and a centre of a multitude of Tribal communities, each with their own unique handicrafts legacy. Meet the silk weavers in Patan, known for double Ikkat weaving and stay in India’s first UNESCO World Heritage City, Ahmedabad, with its glorious architecture and Calico Museum. This journey would not be complete without a stay in Maheshwar a small holy town dedicated to Lord Shiva in neighbouring Madhya Pradesh, and with a flourishing sari weaving industry.
