This morning enjoy a private river safari on the Chambal River. The gentle pace of the river safari is designed to provide spectacular sightings of the myriad of birds, crocodiles, gharwal and even turtles. Birdlife is in abundance. Later in the afternoon, you will go for an excursion to Bateshwar a town with more than 40 temples dedicated to the glory of Shiva and utterly charming. The ghats are evocative of Varanasi and the temples of Pushkar, but minus the crowds. A timeless landscape, an un-hurried pace and the calm, positive vibe of heartfelt prayer. |
